Audiobooks

My wife really likes these for our long road trips.
I do not like to pay $25/$40 per title for them from the bookstore.

Any suggestions ?

Great idea. The local library said they have maybe a 100.
Hope they are current ones.

Audible.com has a great set up, I think it's about $22 for two titles a month. I signed up for a 6 month Package and they gave me an Ipod Shuffle, not sure what promos they have but worth a look.

Audio books are awesome for long drives, they got me threw a 28 hour (straight- i drove the whole way) journey from CO to Virgina Beach a while back.

Crackle Barrell offers a $3 or $4 per week rental.

If you're driving a significant distance, you can rent them from most mainstream Truck Stops and then give them back at a different location of same Truck Stop.

Haven't done it for a few years, but it's probably under $10 for a week each.
